Founded on the humanist vision of Angelo Dalle Molle, Idiap has been at the forefront of AI research for more than 30 years. At the core of his vision was the conviction that AI should benefit society and be guided by the principles of inclusivity, ethics, and human well-being. Today, we continue to pursue scientific excellence while addressing real-world societal needs, from health and sustainability to inclusion and the responsible development of AI.
